Football fans are encouraged to attend the Team Canada "Manitoba Edition" Social in honor of three Manitobans who are members of Canada's Under-19 national team. Mason Dick, Tristan Dyce and Jayden McKoy will compete at the 2014 International Federation of American Football (IFAF) U-19 World Championships July 5-17 in Kuwait.
The social takes place Friday, May 9 from 8:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. at the Pinnacle Club Room, which is located at Investors Group Field. People attending the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Coaching Clinic are also encouraged to come to the social once their sessions are over.
Tickets are $10 and can be obtained by contacting Greg Dick at greg.dick@olddutchfoods.com.
