The Football Manitoba Hall of Fame was established in 2010 to honour these players, coaches, officials, builders and teams who excelled or made significant contributions over the years in their respective disciplines to amateur tackle football. As well the Hall was established to preserve the history of amateur tackle football in Manitoba.
The 2012 Flag Football U-16 and U-18 National Championships are coming to Southern Ontario’s Golden Horseshoe region, July 27 - 31 in Burlington, Ontario. The Flag Nationals will be hosted by the Ontario Football Alliance (OFA) in conjunction with Burlington Minor Football Association at Appleby College in Oakville, Ontario. The championships return to the province of Ontario after Football Nova Scotia successfully hosted the event at Dalhousie University.

THE NATIONAL COACHING CERTIFICATION PROGRAM


Since 1997, the emphasis of the NCCP has been on developing competent coaches – an exciting step towards helping them to become more effective and have a more meaningful impact on an athlete’s development and experience. Football Canada’s Long Term Athlete Development Model is the basis for its NCCP, because it places the participant/athlete first and the coach is at the centre of the athlete’s develop.
