The MGFA (Manitoba Girls Football Association) is still accepting registration for the spring 2014 season (May, June and possibly early July). The MGFA is the only full-contact football league for girls aged 9-16 in the world.

In its 4th season, the MGFA has grown from three teams to five clubs in two different age groups. If you know a girl that would be interested in playing tackle football, but may not want to play with or against the boys, or would like to have more of an opportunity to hone her skills for the fall MMFA season, the MGFA is the place for her. Please contact us before April 14th.

Also, the MGFA has been invited to showcase our league in the Women’s Football Foundation’s Championship Week in Charlotte, North Carolina this July. Any girl playing in the MGFA is eligible to participate in this program. See our website or contact the league for more information about registration for both the league and the showcase program.

Participating clubs are Greendell Falcons, Eastside Eagles, North Winnipeg Nomads, St. James Rods and the St. Vital Mustangs.
