International Football Competition in Ireland

The Greendell Falcons are again traveling to Dublin, Ireland this August with two teams, a Falcon U20 team and a Falcon/Manitoba Senior team.

Each team will play 2 games, the last scheduled against the two All-Ireland

National teams:  National U20 team & National Senior (European team)

Games to follow U.S. American Football - NCAA rules

  • SENIOR PLAYERS (age 22 and over) who wish to play in Europe

  • EXPERIENCED COACHES – ALL POSITIONS (for the senior team) to either help prepare the team, or travel with the team as a coach

Plans are in place to provide players/coaches the chance to travel with little or no expense to them aside from spending money.  Planned fundraising can cover the entire cost to participate, or should players wish, they can pay part or all of their cost.  The choice is yours!

If you are a coach or player interested in participating in this exciting football experience, please email : euroteam2015@gmail.com and include your name, age, preferred position, last team played/coached for, and detailed contact information.  Information will follow within one next week to provide more details.

WolfpackWOLFPACK UNVEILS NEW LOGO, BRAND IDENTITY

Team Kicking Off 2015 WWCFL Season with New Look

(Winnipeg, Manitoba) – To kick off the upcoming 2015 Western Women’s Canadian Football League season, the North Winnipeg Nomads Wolfpack will be embracing a new brand identity. The previous team name, uniform, and logo had been in use since the team’s inaugural season in 2011.

The Winnipeg Wolfpack will continue to be a very proud member of their parent community football club, the North Winnipeg Nomads, who are an integral and positive part of the fabric of Winnipeg’s North End community.

The logo, created by graphic designer Kristen Lourie, maintains the Wolfpack’s original gold and black colour scheme. To honour the traditional colours of the North Winnipeg Nomads, the Wolfpack will be proudly wearing a newly designed gold and black uniform with a green helmet.

The goal of the project was to develop a new, modern, exciting, and empowering logo which would represent the competitive strength and passion of the Wolfpack program.

A new website – www.winnipegwolfpack.com -- and new social media branding have been released to reflect the new team name and logo.

The new Wolfpack logo will be proudly displayed on all Wolfpack team uniforms, player apparel, and merchandise beginning this season.
