Registration for Football Manitoba’s popular Flag Football league begins in January.
Flag Football has been one of the fastest growing sports in Manitoba since its establishment in 2002. Flag is a recreational sport that focuses on the basic rules of football and emphasizes running, catching, throwing, exercise and fun.
The Flag Football program is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 17. Players can register as individuals or as a team with a coach.
The 2015 season starts with a kickoff weekend event in early May. Division games begin at the beginning of May and are played one night per week. The season concludes with a playoff round in each division at the end of June.
Online registration will begin on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 and continue until Monday, March 23, 2015. The 2015 registration fee is $190. More information on open-house registration sessions will be forthcoming.
