WINNIPEG, MB – Football Manitoba today announced that it has renewed its partnership with Elite Performance Centres.

The partnership calls for Elite to continue providing strength and conditioning services to Football Manitoba and assist with concussion management information, such as baseline concussion testing of athletes. Football Manitoba first partnered with Elite in 2010. Today’s renewal extends the relationship to 2016.

“When it comes to high-performance training in Manitoba, Elite is the best,” said Shawn Coates, Executive Director of Football Manitoba. “Their record in helping athletes of all ages is outstanding. We look forward to many years of success with them.”

Elite Performance provides sports specific training and rehabilitation to athletes and teams at many levels from the CFL and NHL to university and high-school. With a staff made up of some of Canada’s top athletes, trainers and therapists, Elite has provided Manitobans with the rehabilitation and training that has helped create thousands of champions and championship teams.

“We’re thrilled to give back to a sport that (Winnipeg Football Club President & CEO and Elite Co-founder) Wade (Miller) and I truly love,” said Jeff Fisher, President & Co-founder of Elite Performance. “It’s great to see the renewed leadership of Football Manitoba and we hope to make a palpable change with them going forward.”
