110 x 65.

That is where football players exist. That is where we learn commitment, dedication, perseverance and strength. For football players that lined field, marked carefully 110 x 65 yards, that’s all that matters.

There will always be distractions. Over the last week, over the next week, over the coming months, there will be distractions. What matters is how you respond to these distractions. Do not allow them to alter your course. If you are eligible to compete in the 2014 Canada Cup, do not allow distractions to move you.

Register for the program. Make yourself better, make your program better and make the province better.

If your goal is to become a greater football player, come out and get coached.

If your goal is to compete on a national stage, come out and earn the right.

Ignore the distractions, focus on getting better.

Focus on the game.

There will always be distractions, reasons to stop, reasons to take the easy path. Nothing can change that.

But the field will remain. The game will remain. The lessons and virtues earned will remain. And nothing can change that.

110 x 65 is all that matters.
